Thursday, July 16, 2015 to Friday, July 17, 2015

The program aims to enhance the conceptual understanding and strategic thinking of senior bankers in India. The focus of the program will be on the management of assets and liabilities, particularly in the context of interest rate, liquidity and foreign exchange risk. Over the two days, participants will learn about the fundamentals of risk management, and then apply this understanding to real life cases based on Indian banks. These cases were specially developed for this program and cover a range of contemporary, complex issues that banks are grappling with, and will provide insights into how to approach these issues and arrive at decisions best suited to each situation. The case discussions will involve extensive use of spreadsheets by participants to facilitate a hands-on learning experience for them.
